Ingredients

  • 2 lbs sirloin or other tender beef cuts preferably with fat
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 1 tsp saltpeter (salitre)
  • 2 tbsps salt
  • 2 tsps aji-no-moto

 

Method

Step 1

Slice beef thinly to desired size (preferably across the grain)

Step 2

In a bowl, mix the rest of the ingredients and spread this on the meat.

Step 3

Allow beef to marinate for at least 24 hours in refrigerator.

Step 4

Fry in hot pan and serve.

Variations

      Use less sugar if desired.
